Welcome

ICOMON was created for museums of numismatics (either as completely independent institutions or as part of larger and more general collections) and museums of financial and economic institutions or companies.

ICOMON is exclusively dedicated to the museological problems of its members and is a forum of discussion for problems including:

  • the acquisition and conservation of objects
  • security and collections management and care
  • educational projects
  • conceptual questions
  • presentation and display
The committee offers its members broad or in-depth discussions, and organises annual meetings.
