Sometimes, money museums and coin collections will have material that they no longer need, would like to exchange, or objects that they are looking for. Wherever possible, ICOMON encourages members to transfer objects between museums rather than disposing of them on the open market. To help with this, ICOMON maintains a list of requests and offers of objects on this page.

Please note: only listings on behalf of museums will be included here. If you are a collector or dealer, we ask that you do not request objects from museums who list objects for exchange or disposal on this page, and do not contact them with offers of objects for sale. If any museum receives unwanted contact from individuals or companies as a result of a listing on this page, please let the webmaster know.

The National Bank of Serbia’s Visitor Centre is looking for a donation of an example of a traditional currency / primitive money, to be displayed in one small showcase as an illustration of the means of payment before the use of coins. The Visitor Centre is not a traditional museum, but a specific exhibition and educational centre with a standing numismatic exhibition, theme exhibits, and associated educational and interactive contents on the central theme of money and banking and financial products and services. The target visitors are primary and secondary school students, and since opening, the Visitor Centre has welcomed 100,000 visitors.
